I recently took my Yorkie to Anahit for a spa day, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From start to finish, the care and attention to detail were exceptional. Anahit was so gentle and patient with my pup, making sure she was comfortable throughout the entire process.

We love Puppy Island and so our dog. They are an amazing friendly staff and loving all pups showing. They evaluate your dog and take a good care of them. Our pup (mix Husky 10 months old) is having a blast every time and they are the only place managing to make her tired. She comes home after a day there and she just eat and sleep. No more energy to give to chase cats and destroy something secretly.

She is a very friendly dog but scared of "strangers" and very energetic and needing stimulation all the time.
Every morning, when we leave for work she is so excited to the idea that she might come with us and join her friends at Puppy Island. Unfortunately, we can' t bring her every day, only once a month. So when it happens, it is Christmas for her and us (human and cats).

I specifically told them I never want my Pom shaved — just a trim and shaping. They respected that and did a beautiful outline trim. His coat still looks full but clean and shaped. His mane was blended perfectly. A lot of groomers don’t understand double coats, but they clearly do.

I keep Mochi in a longer “teddy bear” style and it’s hard to find groomers who don’t over-trim. I explained that I wanted her face round but natural and her body left plush. They followed exactly that. She looked soft and balanced, not choppy. Even a week later she still looked great, which tells me the cut was done properly. You can tell they take their time.

Doodle owners know how risky grooming can be. I asked for a hand-scissored teddy bear cut with a shorter sanitary trim but a full face. They checked for matting first and were honest about what could be saved. No surprises, no shaving him down unnecessarily. Bentley came out fluffy, even, and comfortable. This felt like a groom tailored to him, not a one-style-fits-all job.

Take our two dogs here for daycare (occasionally) and grooming (every 2 months). They are the best groomers we've found in the area - consistently good and always ask details of how we want their cut. The daycare is also great, though we work from home so don't often need it. But whenever we go, all the dogs arriving are so happy to there and sad to leave. Ours always look like they're having fun in the photos. They know our pets by name and are excited to play with them whenever we arrive. They communicate via text with photos and updates.

Stella has a fine coat and feathering that can easily be ruined. I asked for a breed-standard trim with natural feathering and tidy paws. They kept her elegant and didn’t overdo it. She looked polished, not over-styled. It felt like grooming for the breed, not just convenience.

I would give this place a 100/10 if I could. My dog has always had issues with being really scared of any boarding place I would take her to. She would cry and shake and just overall be very nervous no matter what I would do to make her comfortable.

When I tell you that if I so much as say the words “puppy island” that my dog loses her mind and runs to the door with excitement, I am literally not kidding. The absolute joy and impatience she shows when we re in the car heading to go play with her friends is unreal.

I don’t know what Puppy Island does as far as magic or skills that make her so happy there, but I love it and I will not take her anywhere else.

I’m very particular about my poodle’s grooming because a bad cut shows immediately. I asked for a clean Miami cut with balanced bracelets and a rounded topknot — not too tight, not fluffy. The groomer actually discussed proportions with me before starting, which I appreciated. When I picked Winston up, the lines were even and scissored beautifully. It looked like a show groom, not a rushed pet trim. This is the first place I fully trust for his coat.
