Many of our groomers and dog washers come from shelter backgrounds, having spent years working with sensitive pups and building the patience and techniques needed to make them feel safe, calm, and cared for.

Yes, due to the high volume of requests, we are unable to accommodate walk-ins. Please note that our services are available by appointment only.
We specialize in caring for dogs with sensitive skin, a concern that even the owner of Puppy Island shares, having a dog with similar sensitivities. As a result, we've formulated our own alcohol-free shampoo, crafted from natural ingredients, for gentle care. Alternatively, you're welcome to provide your own shampoo or skincare products, and our team will follow your instructions for use.
Our Spa personnel , with more than 10 years of experience and a background in animal rescue, specializes in grooming/washing older and anxious dogs. She takes her time, using breaks and play sessions, to make sure dogs are comfortable and happy during their spa session. This approach helps ensure a stress-free experience for your pet.
The duration of a spa session can vary depending on the size of the pet, coat condition, and specific services requested, but typically ranges from 1 to 4 hours.
